As a baby struggles from birth, sometimes facing incredible obstacles just to survive,  is how it has been with Gen3M,

all born  Jan. 1st, 2001 – Dec. 31st. 2025.

Fight for Survival:  

In 2011, a group of youngsters, soon to be teenagers, took a democratic vote, with parental oversight, to choose a name for their generation, the first generation of the 3rd. Millennium. There were numerous alternatives such as 3M-Gen, AlphaGen, Gen-Z and many others.  All chose Gen3M as their first choice for their generation’s name. The least popular was Gen-Z, ironically.

Gen3M has had to overcome incredible challenges to survive: – Initially it was a battle against the multi-billion dollar, global giant, the 3M Corp. just TO REGISTER our name, Gen3M. We won! 

– Then after speaking out to get better gun control, supporting the MFOL initiative, the Gun Lobby launched a counter-attack. They named a gun accessory Gen3M to associate us with guns. We threatened legal action so they changed the name of their accessory to Gen3-M, still wounding us critically, by association, for any enquiry regarding Gen3M.

– After publicly supporting the students during the Hong Kong struggle for democracy and also continually referencing Tiananmen Square, we came under sustained cyber attacks, disabling our IT systems repeatedly. Two IT specialists concluded that the attacks are coming from China.

– Gen3M was first recognised internationally across 7 newspapers in the USA in Nov 2018 but Wikipedia refused to list us unless we paid. We refused. No Wikipedia listing has been made for Gen3M. Now closed for new admissions born after 2025, Gen3M remains a most exclusive demographic cohort.

–Hacked! Attacked!  Dec 2024: Gen3M is hacked! The ROCS files of Gen3M appear to have been the main target and online records of Gen3M were corrupted with malware or wiped entirely. The critique of genocide in Gaza by Mr. Netanyahu and his government was wiped. 

2025-2026: Restoration of the Gen3M IT structure is still underway; some  projects on hold; Don’t despair; Revolution is in the air.

– Many of us are surviving school shootings and protests. Those dearly wanted, who sadly have not survived, continue to remain respected in memory and we carry their legacies, with Wanted-DoA. Now that enough of us have passed age 21, with injustice happening in many places around the world, we commence our revolution passing our legacy to the 2nd. generation,  which started on Jan 1st. 2026.  It’s time!
